Introduction
Yadagirigutta is a popular pilgrimage tourist attraction in Yadadri, located at a distance of around 60 km (37 miles) from Hyderabad. The famous Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple (Pancha Narasimha Kshetram) is situated on a hillock at about 300 feet above sea level. The deity is Lord Narasimha Swamy.

There are five different forms of Lord Vishnu here. They are Sri Lakshmi Narasimha, Sri Jwala Narasimha, Sri Gandabherunda, Sri Yogananda and Sri Ugra. Many tourists visit this place every year.

How to get to Yadagirigutta Temple
The timings may change over time.
There are Express, mini and Pallevelugu buses from JBS (Jubilee Bus Stand) starting from 5 AM in the morning to 7.30 PM in the evening. The frequency is around every 15 to 20 minutes. The first Minibus starts at 5 AM and the last is at 5.25 PM. The first Pallevelugu bus is at 5.20 AM and the last is at 7.30 PM. The express buses are at 8.20 AM, 9.10 AM, 9.30 AM, 11.20 AM, 12.10 PM and 2.30 PM.
There are Express, Delux and Pallevelugu buses from MGBS bus stand starting from 5 AM in the morning to 8.30 PM in the evening. The first Pallevelugu bus is at 5 AM in the morning and the last is at 8.25 PM in the evening. The first express bus is at 9.15 AM and the last is at 8 PM in the evening. The Delux buses are at 6.30 PM, 7.30 PM and at 8.30 PM.

There are a lot of trains to Bhongir. Yadagirigutta is about 20 km (12 miles) from here. The taxi takes about 30 minutes.
There are some trains to Raigir. Yadagirigutta is around 5 km (3 miles) from here.
The journey time by bus is around 2 hours. The journey time by train is about an hour.

About Temple
A sage by name Yadarishi performed penance inside a cave on the hill between Bhongir and Raigir in Tretayugam (around 36000 BCE). Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu appeared before him in 5 different forms. All these 5 different forms of the Lord are worshipped here.
The Temple is constructed with black granite (Krishna Shila). The golden gopuram has gold plates. The deity is inside a cave. Some rituals are conducted at Pushkarini.

Surendrapuri is the place near Yadagirigutta, where you can see all the deities of various temples in India. It is a mythological museum. It is at a distance of about 3 km (1.8 miles) from Yadagirigutta. The temple is open from 9 AM to 7 PM. The tickets are issued till 5 PM.
Swarnagiri
Swarnagiri temple is near Yadagirigutta temple and is on the way from Hyderabad to Yadagirigutta. The deity is Lord Venkateshwara. The statue is about 12 feet high. The temple is open from 6 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM to 9 PM.
