Introduction
The KL Bird Park located in about 21 acres has various species of birds from different regions of the world. Located in the Perdana Botanical Gardens, this is a famous ecotourism destination. The Park is divided into 4 zones. The natural landscape around gives a relaxing feeling. The chirping of the birds is soothing to the ears. Many tourists visit this place every year.
KL Bird Park is part of Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens. The other attractions in the Lake Gardens are the deer park, the butterfly park and the botanical gardens.

How to get to KL Bird Park
Best way is to take a taxi as there is no metro that directly goes there.
KL Bird Park is on Hop-On-Hop-Off bus route.
Time permits, a bus or combination of metro and bus saves money.
If you can walk, take MRT Kajang line to Muzium Negara station and walk down for about 25 minutes to reach KL Bird Park.

The Zone 1 has the free-flight Zone. There is walk-in aviary. The atmosphere is of a tropical rainforest. It has free flying birds feeding here at 10.30 AM and eagle feeding at 2.30 PM.
In Zone 2 there are birds that live near streams and has free-flight walk-in aviary.
Zone 3 contains the Hornbill Park. There are giant evergreen trees, different species of hornbill birds here. The hornbill feeding is at 11.30 AM. There is hornbill gift shop.
The Zone 4 has mini aviaries, cages, Amphitheatre, Oriental Bird Aviary, education station, flightless birds, parrots and waterfall aviary. There are bird shows here at 12.30 PM and 3.30 PM. The Ostrich and Lory feeding is from 10 AM to 5 PM. Milky stork feeding is at 4 PM. One can have photos with birds in the photobooth from 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM.
