Introduction
The Chin Swee temple is a Taoist Chinese cave temple near Genting Highlands, Malaysia. The Temple is located at a height of 4600 feet above sea level. The panoramic view and the greenery of the surroundings makes it a peaceful place. Many people visit this place every year.
The Chin Swee Caves Temple built in a large area was opened in 1994. The Goh Tong Hall that has more than 100 rooms is used by devotees for prayers and meditation.

How to get to Chin Swee Temple
There is a cable car stop between Awana Skyway and Genting Highlands. There are free shuttles and private taxis from the stop to the Temple. The journey is for about 10 minutes.
From Resorts World Genting, it is a 10-minute drive. From Kuala Lumpur it is about 55 km (34 miles) drive. There are shuttle services from some hotels.

History
The Chin Swee Caves Temple was founded by Reverend Master Chin Swee, a Buddhist monk. He was born in China in 1906 and came to Malaysia in 1926. He opened orphanages, temples and schools in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. The temple was named after him. The temple was opened to the public in 1994. It reflects Chinese architecture and has pagodas and carvings.
