Wat Arun-Bangkok tourist attraction

The Wat Arun is a Buddhist temple near Wat Pho across the river. The temple is also known as the Temple of Dawn. Wat Arun is open from 8.30 AM to 6 PM and costs 200 baht. To go to Wat Arun, take a ferry from Tha Chang Pier near Wat Pho. Tha Tien Pier is under renovation.

The Maeklong railway market (umbrella pulldown market) is a seafood market located in Samut Songkhram Province southwest of Bangkok. This is popular tourist attraction because shops are on the train tracks and are removed whenever the train approaches. The railway market is about 80 km from Bangkok and takes about 90 minutes to reach there. Better take a minivan or taxi or a tour package to visit this place. There is also Damnoen Saduak Floating Market near this place.
