Introduction
The KL Tower (Menara Kuala Lumpur Tower) is a 1381 feet (421m) tower. This is the 7th largest telecommunication tower in the world. The attractions in KL Tower are Observation Deck, Sky Deck and the Sky Box. Many tourists visit this place every year.

How to get to KL Tower
Grab taxi would be best option to save time.
Kelana Jaya Line of LRT to Dang Wangi station. From there take the free shuttle to KL Tower that runs at a frequency of every 15 minutes or walk down for about 10 minutes to reach the tower.
Monorail to Bukit Nanas. From there take the free shuttle to KL Tower that runs at a frequency of every 15 minutes or walk down for about 15 minutes to reach the tower.
GoKL city bus (purple line) to KL Tower stop.
Buses 400, 420, 421 and 580 to KL Tower stop.
Take the Hop on Hop off bus if you bought the ticket for it.

Sky Deck
This deck at a height of 300 meters above ground is an open-air area. A 360-degree view of Kuala Lumpur can be captured from here. This will be closed if the weather is bad.

This is a glass box protruding out away from building. The city below is visible through the glass. This is at Sky Deck.
Observation Deck
This is an indoor area that is at a height of 276 meters.

History
The widening of the area and excavation of soil completed in 1992. The construction of foundation and basement completed in 1993. The erection of tower shaft, tower head and Antenna Mast completed in 1994. The tower was opened to public in 1996.
