Introduction
The Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC Twin Towers) are the world’s tallest twin towers at a height of about 1483 feet (452m). There are 88 floors in each tower and 5 underground levels for car park. Each tower weighs 300,000 tons. The observation deck is at the 86th floor at a height of about 1214 feet (370 m). There is a Skybridge between the two towers on 41st and 42nd floors. The bridge is at a height of about 558 feet (170m) above the ground and is about 192 feet (58.4m) long. The skybridge at 41st floor is open for public view. Many people visit this place every year.

How to get to Petronas Twin Towers
Take the LRT Kelana Jaya line of metro from KL Sentral to KLCC metro station. It is a walk for 5 minutes from here. LRT Kelan Jaya line can also be taken from Masjid Jamek, Pasar Seni and Bukit Nanas.
GoKL city bus is a free bus service from Bukit Bintang to KLCC and Arab Street Taxi (interchange) to KLCC.
RapidKL city buses B103 and B114.
Grab Taxi is the best option if you prefer Taxi. Download the app and register.

About Petronas Twin Towers
The Petronas Twin Towers is an important landmark in Kuala Lumpur along with the KL Tower and Merdeka 118. From many places in Kuala Lumpur the Petronas Twin Towers are visible. At the bottom of the Petronas towers is the Suria KLCC mall. There is KLCC Park near it. There are two elevators. One elevator is to go up to the 41st floor and another elevator to go from the 41st floor to the 86th floor. The Skybridge is supported by 2 hinges. Each hinge is about 167 feet (51 m) long.

Architecture of Petronas
The design is tube design. The towers were designed by Cesar Pelli. The architecture resembles the Malay architecture and the Islamic geometric patterns. It is made of steel, glass and aluminum. Each floor plate is an eight-pointed star. They represent unity, harmony, stability and rationality.
History of Petronas
The planning started in 1992. Excavation started in 1993. Construction started in 1994. Spires and Interiors were completed in 1996. The building was opened in 1999.
